Portrait of Masha Hamilton

Novelist. Journalist. Speaker. Teacher.

I have traveled around the world collecting, writing and sharing stories, both fictional and non-fictional: stories of terrorists and refugees, kidnapped victims and their captors, both reluctant and eager travelers, street artists, reporters overseas. I founded two international literary non-profits and worked as Communications lead for the US Embassy in Kabul and an international NGO. I enthusiastically teach fiction, non-fiction and business writing as I continue to pursue my own writing projects. The web is a big place; thank you for pausing here.
